Structural Steel Portfolio
Most of what we build never gets a name on a marquee. It gets a permit, a frame, a deck and a certificate of occupancy.
About the project
Our structural steel portfolio covers the ordinary working buildings of Southern California. Office and professional buildings, retail and restaurant construction, warehouses and distribution facilities, medical offices, business parks, schools and civic structures.
These projects share a common set of demands. Frames that resist the seismic loads this region imposes, connections that pass inspection, fabrication accurate enough that the deck and the curtain wall land where they were drawn, and delivery that keeps the crane working.
The work spans moment frames, braced frames, gravity framing, transfer girders, roof and floor systems, podium construction and the miscellaneous metals that accompany all of it.
Conditions that shaped the work
- Seismic design requirements governing frame and connection detailing
- Fabrication accuracy driving downstream trade performance
- Delivery sequencing coordinated with crane availability
- Special inspection scheduled around accessible work
