Serving San Diego
The City of San Diego is not one construction market, it is a dozen. Downtown and East Village infill sites have no room to stage steel and require street permits for nearly every delivery. Kearny Mesa and Miramar carry industrial and flex construction with tilt up shells and heavy interior steel. Sorrento Valley and UTC support research, laboratory and office buildings with demanding mechanical coordination. Mission Valley continues to redevelop with mixed use and podium construction. Point Loma and Ocean Beach add coastal exposure to everything built there.
Each of those environments changes how a steel package should be planned. A downtown high rise infill project and a Miramar warehouse have almost nothing in common operationally, even if the tonnage is similar.
Our shop in Spring Valley sits roughly fifteen miles from Downtown, which puts every one of these submarkets within a short delivery run. That proximity matters more than people expect. It means we can respond to a field condition the same day, adjust a delivery on short notice and keep crews close to the work instead of losing hours to freeway time.
